1. Professional Status
Rebecca Lister holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in Sport & Exercise Therapy and is a registered member of the Society of Sports Therapists (SST).
All treatments are delivered within the professional scope of Sports Therapy practice and in accordance with SST professional standards and UK guidelines.
Rebecca is not a medical doctor. Assessment and treatment do not replace medical advice, diagnosis or prescribed treatment from a GP or consultant.
2. Pre-Appointment Requirements
Prior to your appointment, you must complete all forms sent to you, including medical history and consent documentation.
Failure to complete required forms before your appointment may result in cancellation or delay of treatment.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all medical information provided is accurate and up to date.
3. Medical Disclosure
Clients must disclose all relevant:
* Medical conditions
* Current or previous injuries
* Surgeries
* Medications
* Neurological conditions
* Cardiovascular issues
* Skin conditions or infections
* Pregnancy
Combat Rehab Ltd accepts no liability for complications arising from undisclosed medical information.
4. Consent to Treatment
By attending an appointment, you confirm informed consent for assessment and treatment which may include (but is not limited to):
* Sports Massage
* Injury Assessment
* Rehabilitation Programming
* Exercise Prescription
* IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation)
* Cupping Therapy
* Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (Compex)
Clients may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Youth & Minor Policy
Combat Rehab Ltd does not treat children under the age of 10 years.
For clients aged:
10–15 years:
* A parent or legal guardian must be present for the full appointment.
* A parent or legal guardian must complete and sign the consent form prior to treatment.
16–17 years:
* Clients may attend appointments independently.
* A parent or legal guardian must complete and sign the consent form prior to treatment.
Consent for minors must be signed by a parent or legal guardian via the official form provided prior to the appointment.
6. Appointments & Cancellations
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
* Less than 24 hours’ notice: 50% of session fee charged
* Failure to attend (no-show): 100% of session fee charged
Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time.
7. Payment
Payment is due at the time of the appointment unless part of a prepaid package.
Packages are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Results Disclaimer
Sports Therapy and rehabilitation are evidence-based; however, outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Recovery timelines vary depending on injury severity, compliance, training load and individual response.
9. Liability
Combat Rehab Ltd is fully insured through Balens Insurance.
Clients are responsible for:
* Completing prescribed rehabilitation exercises correctly
* Communicating discomfort during treatment
* Following post-treatment advice
10. Data Protection
All client information is stored securely and handled in accordance with UK GDPR regulations.
Personal data will not be shared with third parties without consent unless legally required.
